Indian Institute of Public Health Gandhinagar (IIPHG) is a University established under IIPHG Act, 2015 of Gujarat State. It offers courses in the field of Public Health. It also undertakes various research projects in the field of Public Health. The university is established by Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) with support from the Government of Gujarat, Department of Health & Family Welfare

IIPHG received a grant from the ICDS department for establishing State Resource Centre for Concurrent Monitoring of ICDS program. The objective of the concurrent monitoring is to continuously assess the status of implementation of ICDS in terms of program gaps in coverage, outreach, coordination and capacity building. The concurrent monitoring will assess the skills and service delivery status particularly of supplementary nutrition, growth monitoring and use of WHO Child Growth Standards in ICDS; to identify the gaps and problems and constraints in the implementation of ICDS programme in 33 districts of Gujarat, and 4 corporation
