National AIDS Control Organisation (NACO) has initiated several interventions (such as the link ART centres, Community based screening, etc.) in order to meet its goals and the 95-95-95 objectives. Concurrent, mid-term programmatic evaluations are critical to identifying programme implementation gaps of these interventions and appraisal of options to address those gaps so that mid-path course corrections can be implemented. Saksham, in consultation with NACO, will identify areas for programme evaluation on an annual basis. From among the areas identified, the project shall design and conduct one major and two minor programmatic evaluations. TISS will design the study proposal, develop study protocols and invite agencies to undertake the study by inviting proposals. The programmatic evaluations will cover the whole of the country. The project’s main objective is to design and conduct a concurrent and mid-term evaluation of select programmatic interventions under NACP. Currently, we are inviting applications for Programme Evaluation research studies. These posts are based on the short-term research project. The time frame of this project is 6 months. This position is purely on a contractual basis.
